Physical presence note
The authority states that the guest-investor permit has no mandatory minimum stay, but permanent residence and citizenship use separate tests.
PR & naturalization
The permit is renewable residence. Long-term residence and Hungarian citizenship are later, separate processes.
Tax note
A Hungarian permit does not by itself determine tax residence; obtain advice based on actual days, home and ties. Tax advice is given only by a qualified tax professional.
Documents note
Expect identity, admissibility, investment, source-of-funds and family evidence, followed by in-person biometrics.
Frequently asked
